Shihan Jeff Ramsey

5th Dan, Sanuces Ryu JuJitsu




Shihan Jeff Ramsey has been studying martial arts for over 23 years. He holds numerous ranks in several martial arts: Shorin Ryu Karate 1st dan, Judo 1st dan, Yoshin Ryu and Danzan Ryu Jujitsu systems 4th dan under Master Jeff Moore, and Sanuces Ryu Jujitsu 5th dan under the great Dr. Moses Powell. He has studied with great masters such as Prof. Florendo Visistacion, Dan Inosanto, Bill Wallace, and the Gracies. Shihan Ramsey believes in hard work outs and reality street self-defense training. Shihan Ramsey received Man of the Year in Jujitsu at the 2003 USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame in New York City. He also received Jujitsu instructor of the year in 2004 from the United States Martial Arts Hall Of Fame in Tennessee. Shihan Ramsey also had the great honor of demonstrating jujitsu techniques for Dr. Moses Powell on his recent DVD titled TOUCH N GO!

He currently owns and operates the American Academy of Martial Arts in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania.

Shihan Ramsey currently teaches a self defense class at Lock Haven University and at the Lock Haven YMCA. An article on the LHU class can be seen HERE.
